Robbie Maldonado is a talented left-handed pitcher with a strong baseball background and a deep passion for the game. Born and raised in McAllen, Texas, Robbie began developing his love for baseball at a young age. He attended McAllen High School, where he played all four years and graduated in 2018. After high school, Robbie embarked on an impressive collegiate baseball journey that spanned over five years and included competition at both the junior college and NCAA Division I levels. He began his college career at Laredo Community College, where he played for two seasons and honed his skills as a reliable pitcher. His performance at Laredo earned him an opportunity to compete at the Division I level, and he went on to play two years at Prairie View A&M University, a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). For his final season, Robbie transferred to the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he competed at a high level and helped the team achieve national recognition. Robbie has earned several honors, including selection to the prestigious NCAA HBCU All-Star Game and recognition on the Black College Nines’ Elite Second Team. He also contributed to UTSA's impressive season in which the team earned a national ranking of #22. With over 19 years of baseball experience as both a player and a mentor Coach Robbie brings a wealth of knowledge, a competitive mindset, and a strong foundation in athletic development to every athlete he works with.
17u- Head Coach - Pablo Montante
Pablo brings his passion and love for the game to the field everyday and wants nothing more to pass down his knowledge and love for the game for generations to come. Born and raised in Laredo Tx. Pablo moved to San Antonio Texas where he played baseball and graduated from 6A John Marshall High school. After high school Pablo Committed to play baseball in Southern California at Barstow Community College for two years as a Pitcher. After graduating and Competing in California for two seasons he would then transfer to Our Lady of the Lake University on Scholarship to continue his education and Baseball career. Pablo has pitched and work with coaches and teams in elite collegiate leagues around the world such as The Appalachian League with the River Riders and Texas Collegiate League with the River Monsters. Pablo has earned many awards such as 2020 Barstow Community College All Conference Pitcher (.86 era), 2020 NAIA scholar Team, 2021 RRAC Regular Season Champions, RRAC Tournament Quarterfinalist s, NAIA National Championship Opening Round Participant, NAIA Scholar 2022 RRAC Tournament Quarter Finalist, NAIA Scholar Team, ABCA Team Academic Excellence. RRAC Scholar-Athlete. 3 years of Coaching Experience Along with 17 years playing experience. Pablo is now the pitching coordinator at TMI Episcopal and an assistant varsity baseball coach and is a big part of the Boerne Bucks coaching staff.
John finished up a 4 year career at Our Lady of the Lake University as a 2-way. John was a four-year starter in his hometown Harlingen Texas. John attended 6A Harlingen High School in the Rio Grande Valley. During High School he received rewards such as: 1st Team All-District, and Defensive Player of the Year. John believes in encouraging players through their learning and playing experiences to always continue to enjoy the game as a life time sport. John is in his second season of coaching and has 18 years of baseball experience.

Ashton just finished up a 3 year baseball career at Our Lady of the Lake University as a center fielder. Ashton was a four-year starter in his hometown Harlingen Texas. Ashton attended 6A Harlingen High School in the Rio Grande Valley. During High School he received many awards including: Newcomer of the Year, 1st Team All-District, and Offensive Player of the Year. After High School Ashton committed to play baseball at Our Lady of the Lake University. Ashton has been working in youth sports as an instructor and trainer at D-BAT BOERNE for the last 3 years and has 17 years of baseball experience. Ashton now head coaches the TMI Middle School baseball and Highschool JV baseball team. As well as an assistant varsity coach.
